Community Service and Outreach

I have actively contributed to student and youth-led organizations that connect academic research with broader communities, from interdisciplinary PhD groups to global civic networks.

My community services have focused on facilitating knowledge exchange, mentoring younger students, and creating public-facing conversations around science, health, and policy.

Youth in Public Health Symposium, Guangdong, China, August 2024

The Global Shapers Community is a youth leadership initiative of the World Economic Forum, connecting young changemakers to drive dialogue, action, and impact at the local and global level.

As Curator of the Cambridge Hub, I led initiatives at the intersection of AI and public good, including:

  • AI & Climate-Health: Participated in a hub-wide initiative exploring how artificial intelligence can be applied to address climate-linked health challenges.
  • Transforming Science for the Public: Co-led a project focused on making academic science more accessible through public communication, including blog writing, panel discussions, and community reports.

Led one of the university’s most active student organizations focused on international diplomacy and policy simulations. Coordinated large-scale Model UN conferences, facilitated training programs for new members, and promoted interdisciplinary policy dialogue among students across schools.
